The current edition of Magento offers a variety of payment options, which means you have the ability to offer your customers a flexible range of choices when they reach the checkout page on your store.

Some of the payment options are integrated through popular gateways PayPal Payflow Pro and Authorize.net. These gateways allow you to accept major credit cards on your website and take advantage of advanced processing options. A merchant could theoretically enable both PayPal Payflow Pro and Authorize.net, however it’s simpler and more practical to only have one on your website.

Other payment options available through Magento are the ability to save credit card information, pay via check/money order, cash on delivery, purchase order, and bank transfer. These options do not require integration through a payment gateway.
