Real Life Pricing Estimates

Below are some examples of real customers asking for real estimates to solve their business needs. We have removed names and any details that might be proprietary.

Storage and Data Backup Company wanted to migrate away from an old multi-site installation of WordPress to a simple single-site install. This required migration to a new host and upgrading PHP to 8.3.  This took 18 hours, including client communication, deployment, and QA.

Antiques company wanted a custom shipping quote for international customers so that they could accurately quote shipping costs for their unique product dimensions and sizes. It required us to create a custom plugin and it allowed for custom email messaging and a dashboard to manage the shipping quotes. Custom plugin, plus communication, QA and deployment was 40 hours.

Hobby company asked us to develop and implement a self-service subscription autoship portal that empowers shops to manage their own recurring orders with minimal reliance on staff. We built this portal, tested, and communicated around the project for about 75 hours of work.

Podcast company wanted to implement a guest checkout feature that allows user to checkout without logging in when purchasing physical products, while still requiring a login for digital products. We spent 10 hours creating a filter that checks for digital and physical products and sends users through the right workflow.

Law firm needed a whole redesign of their website along with reusable templates for landing pages and blog posts. They also needed a live event ticketing system. We planned out the project, communicated, designed and built a new site with a homepage, five internal pages, two templates and a ticketing system plugin for 75 hours.

Medical supply company needed a deep integration with Fishbowl ERP and their WooCommerce store. The goal of our work was to create a WooCommerce-Fishbowl integration that would remove manual work, migrate records from Quickbooks, and reconfigure the order process. This integration was made from scratch. Our development, project management, communications and testing, took a total of 200 hours.

So much value in their consistency.

Built Mighty saved us a year of work. Their team really shows up. They’re knowledgeable. They’re flexible. They do what they say they’re going to do. And they’ve delivered exactly what we needed.

A dental supply company switched from Arlo to LearnDash for their learning management system. They needed it integrated with WooCommerce, allowing users to view courses and buy products under the same login. Our team spent about 55 hours removing the old integration, transferring data, installing the new system, and reformatting the site—along with project management, testing, and communication.

A personality testing company approached us to rebuild their website and database using Laravel. Their site featured digital testing codes and a complex system that needed a fresh, streamlined approach. We initially quoted 200 hours to plan, develop, test, and manage communication throughout the entire project.

Coffee roasting company needed an integration between Netsuite and their WooCommerce store to streamline their operations. With a mix of one-time orders, subscriptions, and both pickup and delivery options, they required a robust ERP solution. We quoted 40 hours to build a seamless integration that automated processes and minimized manual work, ensuring everything ran smoothly.

A technology news company asked us to redesign their website, create page templates for different sections, and assist with ad management. Our team estimated 100 hours to complete the redesign, handle data migration, conduct thorough testing and quality assurance, provide project management, maintain clear communication, and train their team on the new system.

A non-profit organization reached out for an SEO audit of their website, with an action plan as the final deliverable. We spent 8 hours reviewing their site, identifying key SEO improvements, and provided a detailed monthly action plan. We’re now collaborating with them to implement the plan and boost their online presence.

We helped a fabric company modernize their delivery process by moving from CDs to a digital solution for sending files to shops and customers. The goal was to make the switch without affecting their revenue stream. It took us about 35 hours to set up the digital system, handle quality assurance, deployment, and manage the project through to completion.

What Projects Like This Typically Cost

These numbers come from past client work—so you’re seeing a realistic range, not fluff.

A nationwide physical therapy company wanted us to evaluate their site, look for opportunities to improve their website for the long term. We looked through broken links, SEO, email marketing, CTAs, site infrastructure, plugin audit, privacy practices, and a security audit and gave them a report of our findings in about 35 hours of work.

Aftermarket car parts company needed a robust search feature on their website so that customers could find parts based on specific year, make, model, sub model, and engine type. We built a custom search tool and reorganized their existing catalog in 45 hours of work.

We worked with a custom furniture maker who had their site hosted on Amazon Lightsail, and it was incredibly slow. We migrated their site to Kinsta, and did a number of performance improvements that made their site 3X faster, and we did this in a 55 hour time frame. Kinsta was a much better hosting fit based on the way their site was built

A scientific supply company that we’ve worked with asked for a new phase to their website. We had previously added an integration to their site, and they now wanted us to help build out integrations that would help speed up their internal process. We quoted them 35 hours to build out a custom “invoice bundle” that would send customers an invoice quote (to pay later) along with technical documentation associated with their products.

We worked with a cottage goods company to help improve their SEO and social media strategy. We created strategic blog posts and their respective designs for about 4 hours per blog post. This time included: keyword research, SEO-structured outline, writing, design, and posting.

A Chicago based non-profit reached out to us to build out a strategic SEO plan for their newly designed site. In about 30 hours we were able to come up with our keyword strategy, hook-up their site to Google Merchant Center, setup their Google My Business, connect Google Search Console and Analytics to their site, write 3 blog posts, improve customer review functionality, and optimize 5 product pages for SEO.

Nationwide hunting products company reached out to us to enhance the user experience of their site to make it fully mobile responsive, improve the shop homepage with a clearer call-to-action, and optimize their product pages for cross-selling and up-selling. We were able to accomplish this in a 40 hour timeframe.

We built a brand new custom plugin for a Saas product that integrates with WooCommerce. This was a from scratch project that resulted in a brand new plugin going on the WooCommerce and WordPress plugin marketplace. Our team accomplished this in 70 hours.

Custom label company asked us to build a custom print proof management system for their orders. We had already done work with them, and knew the site’s infrastructure and were able to build it in 40 hours. This included email notifications to both the customer and internal team members, and a section in the My Account that included “proofs”.

A legal training company reached out to us about improving their checkout and enrollment flow to help improve conversion rates. We built out a new flow for about 50 hours of work. This included creating a centralized question management system to go across all forms, improving checkout process and options to simplify the process, and by moving the form completion requirements to after the checkout process.

Boutique local food producer worked with us to build two custom integrations with their WooCommerce store. One integration was for their sales platform, and the other was for the inventory management system. These integrations didn’t exist and we had to build them from scratch. That took us around 75 hours to complete.

We developed a new WooCommerce site for a local government construction company capable of hosting their current catalog of 60,000 SKUs with the ability to scale for future growth and performance needs. The site supported Vurbis punchout to connect purchaser’s procurement systems with the WooCommerce platform. We were able to do this in about 90 hours.

Common Pricing Questions

How do you track billable hours?

We use detailed time-tracking software and provide itemized invoices that break down all development work performed.

Do you offer fixed-price projects?

We believe hourly billing provides the most transparency and flexibility for our clients. However, we can provide detailed estimates based on project scope.

What’s your minimum project size?

While we’re equipped to handle projects of any scale, our sweet spot is enterprise WordPress and WooCommerce development projects starting at 40 hours.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards, ACH transfers, and other standard payment methods. Credit card payments incur a 3% processing fee, but ACH transfers have no additional fees. If you have a specific preference, let’s talk!

Do you offer different pricing tiers or packages?

No, because every project has different requirements and scope. Rather than locking you into rigid packages, we tailor our services to your needs.

Do you offer a free trial or sample before purchasing?

Instead of a trial, we recommend starting with a small feature or bug fix. This lets you see how we work before committing to a bigger project. If we’re a good fit—great! If not, no hard feelings and you get a quick win!

Trusted by businesses that demand the best.
